Leading Retirement Solutions has dedicated financial and volunteer resources to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to assist in their efforts to end breast cancer in the U.S. and throughout the world. Leading Retirement Solutions supports Komen’s mission to fund ground-breaking research, provide community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 50 countries. We are pleased to be part of the solution in ending breast cancer and to be part of Komen victories, including increased early detention and more treatments, research, survivors, and hope.

LRS recognizes the interconnectedness of the world we live in and supports local and global initiatives that promote the expansion of opportunity and self-sufficiency. At Leading Retirement Solutions we believe in Make-A-Wish's mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. This is why we continue to support Make-A-Wish, so they can pass that support along to those who need it.
R.E.S.T.
R.E.S.T. (Real Escape from the Sex Trade) is a Seattle-based, independent nonprofit founded in 2009, whose main goal is to provide a path to freedom for those exploited by the sex trade. R.E.S.T is dedicated to helping sex trade workers and prostitution survivors find a way out of the sex trade by using a model of prevention, intervention, and restoration. The organization has grown steadily and has formed partnerships with City of Seattle's Coordinated Effort Against Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) response network, Seattle Vice Squad, SeaTac, Kent/Burien police officers, Seattle's Union Gospel Mission, Shared Hope International, Businesses Ending Sex Trafficking (BEST), and the Organization for Prostitution Survivors (OPS). R.E.S.T. is powered by a passionate desire to affect positive change in our community and beyond, and we are honored to stand with them in their admirable journey.
The Washington National Parks Foundation
Leading Retirement Solutions supports our Washington State National Parks! The Washington National Parks Foundation (WNPF) has a mission to raise private support to deepen the public’s love for, understanding of, and experiences in Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks. The funds donated by LRS help fund 50 to 75 projects carried out by the WNPF annually in these parks. It is the only philanthropic organization dedicated solely to these three national parks and 100% of the donations stay in Washington State for this purpose.

Leading Retirement Solutions is proud to be a donor of Seattle Children’s Hospital, one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation. Leading Retirement Solutions provides ongoing support to THE HUMANE SOCIETY FOR SEATTLE/KING COUNTY as they conduct the very important work of saving animals and uniting them with human companions. As most of us already know, pets make any community more vibrant. Through their faithful companionship, animals provide humans with a wide array of benefits, from stress reduction, to unconditional love and joy. For this reason, Leading Retirement Solutions believes a civilized society has a responsibility to care for all animals to ensure their lives are the best they can be. THE HUMANE SOCIETY FOR SEATTLE/KING COUNTY does just that – saving more than 6,000 animals a year, with no time limits. In fact, our Humane Society has achieved one of the highest save rates in the nation.
Homestead Community Land Trust
Leading Retirement Solutions recognizes the importance of stable housing in promoting strong communities, where both people and businesses can thrive. LRS supports Homestead Community Land Trust in its mission to strengthen the fabric of the community through creating and expanding the opportunity for home ownership. We already assist business owners with safe access to 401(k) and other retirement income in order to fund important real estate investments as they pursue business growth. Support of Homestead is a natural fit for us, because Homestead provides assistance to homebuyers seeking to secure financing to own a home. As a catalyst for home ownership to first time home buyers, Homestead offers financial counseling, classes on home repair and income tax preparation. Homestead promotes a sustainable system of affordable housing by requiring clients to agree to a cap on the resale value of their new property.
Compass Housing Alliance
Leading Retirement Solutions is proud to announce that it is a supporter of Compass Housing Alliance, a nonprofit, Seattle-based organization dedicated to providing a range of valuable services to the homeless. These services include shelter and transitional housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, permanent low-income housing for individuals or families who do not make a living wage or are formerly homeless, and development of affordable housing units for low-income tenants.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Leading Retirement Solutions is an annual contributor to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society TEAM IN TRAINING, supporting the best of both worlds – personal fitness and curing blood cancers. To help blood cancer patients have access to the treatments they need and to live their best life today, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society raises millions of dollars through cosponsoring group marathons, triathlons, cycling and hiking. They provide coaches to expand participants’ fitness level with workouts, nutrition and hydration clinics. The funds raised contribute to advancing drug therapies and research to find cures for blood cancers, including leukemia, the Number 1 disease killer of children. Leading Retirement Solutions will continue to show its gratitude to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through ongoing financial support.
